I love the Christmas season…all the stores and venues are dressed in their finest this time of year! Sunday afternoon my husband, daughter and I had a little extra time to go to lunch and spend just a few extra minutes to notice the beautiful Christmas decorations at the mall. Often, we are too busy to notice anything because we are on a strict time schedule. We took the time to step closer to notice the beauty in this gorgeous tree decked out for the season.

Step In Closer To Notice Beauty- Wonderful Wednesday

It was probably 10 feet tall as it glistened and shimmered there at it’s post. We stood there to admire it from afar, but then I decided I wanted to take a few steps closer. There I noticed all the intricate elements that came together to make this spectacular Christmas tree.

In the hustle and bustle of the season we can easily turn on our autopilot and motor on without noticing much of anything special. While we may find all our tasks are checked off the list, we can end up missing the beauty for all the activity.

Step closer in to notice beauty and the joy of the season. Life goes by so quickly! While the moments pass by, we can enjoy the memories for a lifetime if we’ve taken the time to notice the beauty in them.
