Animal Print Dress
Now, I must admit that this dress is not of the wall flower variety. When you wear an animal print dress you are making a statement. This Maggy London dress has been in my closet a long time. In fact, it wins the prize as my oldest single piece of clothing. I bought it the year my daughter was born and that was 18 years ago. That being said, this is not an outfit I typically pull out to wear to the grocery store 😉
Still, you don’t have to go head-to-toe to make a style statement with animal prints. In fact, animal print accessories and single pieces make great neutrals. Adding an animal print scarf or loafers immediately elevates the style factor of any outfit.

Thanks Linda, I am so glad you stopped by to say hi!
Come on, it’s a great dress for the grocery store, haha. Seriously, you’ve had this treasure for 18 years? I didn’t know leopard print was even “in” 18 years ago. It’s truly a treasure and you look fabulous and ever so refined. I do love adding a bit of leopard print as a statement piece or accessory, I own a few pairs of shoes and scarfs and belt . . . Ya, I love me some leopard print.
Can’t you just see me strolling down the cereal aisle with my grocery list?! Thanks for stopping by and sharing the love, Trina.
Isn’t wonderful how animal prints can be either classic, funky, or edgy and how well is works for all ages? Love the outfit and the options.
Thanks Rena! The key is for people to realize the versatility of animal prints instead of being scared of them.
Beautiful all around, Shellie! Wonderful that you kept this dress all these years. I love a great leopard print Anything.
You and I both have leopard on our minds to kick off this new year, Jennie!
Great dress! It looks wonderful on you. It clearly has stood the test of time and is a classic. (Plus, I love pieces of clothing, jewelry etc. I got when my kids were born or a certain age – it always takes me back right to that time…).
Andrea, you are so right about that! I was thinking about how long I have owned the dress, which sent me to where I wore it, which made me think of my babies.
Absolutely stunning my friend!! I am a huge animal print lover and to me this is the perfect dress!! Fun, Flirty and so so gorgeous!!! Thanks for hosting this awesome link up for us!!! Muah xo
Thanks Andrea, I have seen you rock the print!
Love this animal print dress! I consider leopard to be a neutral. 🙂

Animal print is a classic and you are wearing it very well! Thanks for hosting. I love this monthly link-up. Such fun and always looking forward to it. Thank you and happy new year. Sabina | Oceanblue Style
Hi Sabina, it is always fun to see how fabulous and stylish the women are in our “demographic” 😉
This is a great dress and you are right, Shellie…it never goes out of style. Thanks for the link up!
Thanks Pam, so glad you joined us!
Looking fabulous Shellie, animal print will never go out of fashion. It’s good to know there are other stylish women out there keeping their clothes for so long. Some of my outfits are older than your dress and they still come out to play. Thank you for hosting
Laurie x
Hey Laurie…the key is buying quality, classic pieces, then they never go out of style!
