I’m from Florida, so I don’t really have a lot of current experience with the gray days of winter. But, I do remember the few winters we lived in Missouri and those years of freezing ice were enough for a lifetime…I hope anyway! We once ventured out to the local diner to get out of the house on a day when Springfield was encased in ice. It took us an hour each way, but we made sure to eat a huge piece of pie to balance out our calorie consumption.

Still, we do have a few cool days every now and then in Florida. In fact, last week the temps got down to the 50’s in the evenings…brrr (HaHa, I can almost feel some of you rolling your eyes as I type). Well, what can I say? My blood runs quite thin after years of living in the tropics.

I’m crazy about Sam’s Club. In fact, it’s a regular weekend hangout for my husband and me; especially on chilly days. While gloomy winter gray skies are not high on my list, I love to wear the color gray. This winter gray sweater is anything but sad.

This winter gray cape sweater feels like a cozy blanket, but the tapered sleeves and turtleneck add structure to the look.

I paired the sweater with matching gray ankle boots to create a cohesive outfit. Then, I added stainless jewelry pieces and a few gold accents to echo the gold snaps on the arm. The gold also adds warmth to the cool gray.

So, are there any other gray or Sam’s Club lovers out there besides me?

    I love this jumper it looks warm and comfortable – my kind of wear indeed. Looks good with your booties too, grey is such a difference from black.

      Gray is a great alternative to black; especially when you have winter coloring.

    My husband and I love Sams club too. I’m always finding great buys there. We just bought a house with beautiful hardwood floors and we found large area rugs for a fantastic price! Love your grey sweater. I would definitely wear that in the winter but only for a short time since I am here in sunny Arizona.

    My husband and I thought we were the only ones who like to go go Sam’s Club on the weekends!! Now, I know we are not alone!
