Last week, my voice went out across the air waves in my first radio interview!

I grew up listening to the radio. In fact, next to air-conditioning, the radio is the most important accessory in my car followed closely by well-placed cup holders. I’m crazy about it!

I often contemplate the radio announcers I hear; trying to guess what they might look like based on their personalities and voices. Also, I’m intrigued by the notion that these professionals can carry on a running conversation with a microphone for hours at a time.

Well, this experience did not disappoint! Pete O’Shea does a 3-hour show every weekday on WTIS in St. Petersburg and he was amazing to watch. I sat there for 30 minutes before my interview just watching him do his thing with ease and finesse.

Then, it was my turn to talk and he made it so easy for me. I was there to promote the upcoming launch of my new book, Find Your Weigh.
