I have been thinking about adding some video elements to the blog for a while, but I couldn’t quite figure out what I wanted to do. Now, I have finally come up with an idea that strikes a chord with me and I hope it will with you as well!
When I started this blog a year and a half ago, I wanted to talk about those things that truly make life fabulous and worth living. So, starting with today’s post, I will take a few minutes every now and then to share things that make me smile.
Is life always easy? No! But, that doesn’t mean I should allow my attitude, perspective and outlook to be highjacked by the rise and fall of my circumstances. So, what do I do? I choose joy. I would rather face each day with a smile…how about you?
This week, my two featured faves really give a hint to how I’m feeling about the computer this week. Yikes, I have been struggling with my website for the last several days and I am hoping things are getting worked out. Anyway, it’s good to see I’m not alone and that there’s someone out there to help me get more done!
Here’s hoping each of you can smile at the days ahead. Enjoy the rest of your week and Thursday Favorite Things!
All of the Faves are pinned to my Featured Faves Pinterest Board!

What a lovely voice you have. I would never have pegged your for a Southern girl (guess I need to reread your About page). I have an elephant room – actually a guest bedroom decorated with elephants. So glad you were able to smile through your daughter’s first night away at college.
Thanks Leslie. Yes, it’s always nice to add a voice to my written words and pictures.
Shellie: Your video is a blessing. Loved your thoughts and you have such a lovely voice!! Please keep doing videos.
Thanks Debbie! I really appreciate the encouragement!
