It’s time for another Wonderful Wednesday! Let’s talk a little about adult coloring books.

Adult Coloring Books

Walk into any bookstore and you’ll likely be greeted by a diverse display of adult coloring books. I love the idea of just sitting down to color, although I haven’t actually tried it myself. It’s one of those brilliant ideas that you look at and think, “why didn’t I think of that myself?”

At this point, the real question should be, “why haven’t I tried it myself?” Frankly, I can’t seem to find an extra minute in my day. As much as I’d love to dive into an intricately designed book with a pack of colored pens in hand, I just can’t spare the time. Well, I guess I could, but then I wouldn’t have the time to write this post 😉

I guess I really don’t have time for another hobby besides blogging at this point in my life. But, what about you? Do you have a hobby that interests you and allows you to take a break from the worries of the day…at least for a little bit? If not, I see the need for a little brainstorming in your future.

We all need a little time away…to think, or better yet, not to think about anything…not even my next blog post. So, come to think of it, I believe I will be purchasing a coloring book and a pack of fabulously colorful markers real soon!
