Party Time! – OMHG Wordless Wednesday

The idea of just one day to celebrate your birthday seems a little boring, especially when you live in the Philippines where everyday is party time! I have learned to seize the moments. My actual birthday was rather low-key, but it was finished off with a chocolate pie that my dear husband baked himself!! The next day I had lunch with my buddies complete with desserts (notice that I used the plural) and of course, singing.
I was so excited to open up my birthday present yesterday to discover a new cell phone. I did a happy dance right there in my kitchen. It was a total surprise, but then I guess I have been whining about my dying cell phone for a couple of months now π
So, I would definitely say my week started out with a bang! How was your’s? I hope you’ll seize the moments to enjoy those you hold near and dear; whether it’s your birthday or just another Wednesday.

This is what I miss about home. We love to party and our birthday last for a month! I am going to be 40 this MOnday and I want to go back to the Philippines. Sadly I cant =(
