The idea of just one day to celebrate your birthday seems a little boring, especially when you live in the Philippines where everyday is party time! My actual birthday was rather low-key, but it was finished off with a chocolate pie that my dear husband baked himself!! The next day I had lunch with my buddies complete with desserts (notice that I used the plural) and of course, singing.

I was so excited to open up my birthday present yesterday to discover a new cell phone. I did a happy dance right there in my kitchen. It was a total surprise, but then I guess I have been whining about my dying cell phone for a couple of months now 😉

So, I would definitely say my week started out with a bang! How was your’s? I am sure many of my American friends enjoyed your Labor Day Weekend celebrations. Let’s keep the fun going with this week’s Oh My Heartsie Girl Wordless Wednesday!
