What I Really Wore – Favorite Color Combo

I know some of you are really cooling off, but things are still sizzling in Manila. As much as I’d like to pull out some boots and a sweater, it’s still short sleeves for me. Black, white and red are undoubtedly my favorite color combo. I met a friend for […]

Would you keep the character or go modern?

Most spaces don’t need a complete overhaul—they just need a fresh perspective. If you’d like help reimagining your space by using what you already have and adding just what you need, DM me. I’d love to help you reimagine your space. 🩷

Some keep these tucked away in plastic bins that o Some keep these tucked away in plastic bins that overflow with crayon drawings, little notes, and those “masterpieces” you say you’ll keep forever. But then life gets busy. The bin gets moved, packed, or forgotten in a pile of other junk in the garage. And then one day you realize…your kids aren’t little anymore. Their artwork isn’t showing up on the fridge or the kitchen counter. There are no new drawings coming home in backpacks.

So instead of tucking them away, I chose a few of my favorites…the ones that instantly take me back to sticky fingers, bedtime stories, and busy little voices filling the house. I had them matted and framed in a simple and clean way. They hang right over my kitchen sink. They add color and whimsy to my everyday life…small reminders that those years weren’t as ordinary as they felt at the time.

Turns out, the most meaningful decor in my home isn’t something I bought…it’s something my kids made. If you’re holding onto a pile like this…don’t wait. Find a way to bring it into your home in a way you can see and feel every day ✨

Save this idea for later—you’ll be so glad you did 🤍

Have you thanked God today? Yesterday, I bent over Have you thanked God today? Yesterday, I bent over and my sciatic said, "hello!" I felt it all night and woke up to it this morning. But then, I also woke up to a roof over my head, a lovely Sunday morning and a cute outfit to boot!! 🙌😉 Sometimes, you've just got to shift your gaze and perspective and gratefulness is the perfect place to start. What are you thankful for today? Let me know in the comments.

I recently got to spend one day with all my kids t I recently got to spend one day with all my kids together in one place. My son and his wife were back in the US for a wedding, so the rest of us met them halfway to spend the day together. We did all the things; games, cookout and s'more, of course! As a mom of grown-up kids, there are few things better than sitting back, listenng to them talk and laughing at every other word. They just bring me joy. Hey Mamas, let me know if you agree by dropping a ❤️ in the comments.

John 1: 12-13 reminds us that "all who received him, to those who believe in his name, he gave the right to become children of God — children born not of natural descent, nor of human decision or a husband's will, but born of God."

Remember, you are a child of God. He delights in you and He loves to hear the sound of your voice!

Stop. Breathe in, breathe out and look away... "M Stop. Breathe in, breathe out and look away...

"May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, so that by the power of the Holy Spirit you may abound in hope."

Romans 15:13

It can hit us in an instant, we're overwhelmed. Our heart rate increases and our mind feels frozen and unsure of what to do next. It may seem counterproductive to stop when our to-do list seems endless. But this is the exact time we need to take our eyes off of the problem and look to God.

Our God speaks joy, peace and hope. 🤍

Does the thought of international travel intimidat Does the thought of international travel intimidate you? There's a big wide world to see, but it does help to be prepared.

International travel is never for the faint of heart, but this trip definitely took longer than we expected! Here's a few tips to make long international trips more doable:

1. Wear loungewear in a dark color. No matter how comfortable you think a pair of jeans is, you're not used to wearing that same pair for hours on end. Dark colors also help protect against stains and spills when you're eating in close quarters.
2. Make sure to pack chargers in your small personal item, not your carry-on. It's much easier to reach a purse under the seat than to pull down a carry-on from the overhead space.
3. Always have extra snacks on hand. Yes, they do feed you on the long international legs, but your stomach is geared to your home timezone.
4. Store your passport in the same, accessible pocket and place it back there every time, no matter what! There's nothing quite like the stress of searching for a passport when your brain is tired from traveling.

Have you taken a moment to look out the window on Have you taken a moment to look out the window on your daily commute? The yard is showing off right now with an array of flowers 💐 🥰😍 and I'm doing my best to take notice of God's handiwork.

Our attention is often stolen by the tyranny of the urgent. Life is busy and it can easily suck up all our attention. It's amazing what you'll notice if you take time to look.

Matthew 6:28–30: "See how the flowers of the field grow. They do not labor or spin. Yet I tell you that not even Solomon in all his splendor was dressed like one of these".
