1,100 Mile Road Trip | Missouri Bound
May 27, 2021Right now, life is hard for a lot of us. I’m not so sure if it’s any one thing, but the confluence of so much crazy stuff all smashed into a rather short period of time has really hit a lot of us for a loop. And, for lack of a better term, I would say it’s left quite a few of us feeling more than a little loopy. It’s the time for keeping it real with ourselves and others.
It seems like the winds of too much change and uncertainty have blown some of us off course a bit. So today, I am keeping it real with all of you. I made a little video to share my heart with each of you…and I did it without any make-up on…it’s just me; keeping it real with each of you.
Invitation To A “Beautiful Mess Chat”
I’ve been feeling the need for community…and not the kind where I talk and everyone else listens, or likes, or comments. No, a real see-your-face and hear-you-speak (if you want to 😉) kind of get-together. I believe that we’re stronger together and I’m also confident that God is always standing at the ready to lend us strength when we feel weak.
Thanks to those of you who took the time to fill out the survey I put out a few weeks ago on The Fabulous Journey Facebook page. I was thrilled with the response I received!
Our chat will be a mix of several things: a short devotional, some Q&A, discussions about what we all are currently facing, and maybe some tips and tricks sprinkled in. Oh, and of course, it would be free for anyone who is interested.
The first “Beautiful Mess Chat” will be May 27 at 8:30pm (ET). Please take a second to fill out this form to register for the event.
Aren’t you glad that God always keeps it real with us and He gives us the body of Christ to encourage us? I look forward to meeting some of you for the first time.

I’m so glad you responded here to that person’s tweet. I think it is something many are feeling, including myself. Our soul has to be anchored in Christ and him alone.
Thanks, Janie. We just need to fix our eyes on Jesus.
