I’ve never been one for t-shirts. I might wear one to a ballgame or theme park, but for the most part, they are not a regular part of my wardrobe. But, I had to make an exception for this graphic tee.

I recently attended the Designed For Life women’s conference in Springfield, Missouri with 9,000 other girls. The theme of the conference was “Believe.” We women act on what we believe…if we believe we have worth and value, it shows in our work, our relationships and our faces.

I believe that we are all intricately created with our own special something; the question is whether or not we’ve ever stopped striving and comparing long enough to realize what we’ve got to give.

This slouchy graphic tee carries the message, “Anything Is Possible When You Believe.” I loved this tee for it’s message and it’s fashionable shape.

This is a particularly flattering silhouette for women over 40. First, flared jeans over platform shoes make your legs look like they go on for days.

Next, this black scarf vest creates a long vertical line to draw the eye up and down. It also breaks up the expanse of white fabric at the top, which can make the body appear wider.

Finally, I added Aerosole black platform wedges. Wedges work well with flared jeans because they are heavy enough to visually anchor the pants and high enough to keep them from dragging the ground.

Now, I know some of you are put off with the height of wedges; however, if you look closely you will realize a good bit of the height is an optical illusion. These wedges have one inch under the ball of the foot, so the actual incline is only about 2 1/2 inches. Not to mention the fact that the soles are extremely well padded…they’re actually really comfortable to wear.

    Love this look from head to toe! I really like the look of flared jeans and platform heels, but I’m so tall already that I just look like a giant. Such a great graphic tee. Hope you’re having a great weekend!

    Love the look, Shellie. You look statuesque and slender and absolutely stunning. There’s just something to be said about flared jeans with heels, isn’t it πŸ™‚

    p/s funny thing, I only wear graphic tops to the gym, yup, all my exercise tanks make some sort of statement from “Force Majeur” to “Boss Lady” to “Though She Be But Little, She Is Fierce” and my personal fave, “Kinda Classy, Kinda Hood”.
