I am so excited to have my cutie-patootie blogging friend, Andrea, sharing a guest post about this season’s off shoulder trend. Her joy for life just oozes through every frame, which just adds to her gorgeousness.

Hi everyone!! I’m Andrea from Living on Cloud Nine. I am beyond thrilled to be guest hosting for sweet Shellie. I was so graciously welcomed to be one of her co-hostesses for our monthly My Refined Style fashion link up and Shellie’s style, sensibility and smiles simply make this world a brighter place.

Some of my favorite looks on Shellie revolve around the classic black and white!! The chic and tailored look just explodes with personality when she adds a touch of color. When I thought of Shellie and the outfit I wanted to style for this guest post, I knew my favorite color, red, was a must have with my black and white ensemble.

Off shoulder is certainly the trend of the season and the tops I love the most are the ones where the shoulders can be worn down or up as this fun, red gauze one can.

The midi skirt is another trend on point, especially for the over 40 set. This staple has actually been in my closet for 15 years and is a go to often when seeking a classic, refined look. It’s always an easy, pull out the black shoes, bright top or cardigan and good to go look.

To add to the fun, I was excited to style this new black and white striped floppy hat. Just love a wide brimmed hat in the summer and can see wearing this with a classic black or red one piece swimsuit and flowy cover-up.
