Ladylike Black And White Outfit- Featured Looks From My Refined Style #8
May 16, 2016Fiesta Red Dress
May 23, 2016This week, I witnessed a tearful surprise that will undoubtedly endure as one of my most cherished moments. My son flew across the world to surprise his sister.
Originally, we just didn’t see this trip happening because we are heading back to Florida immediately after her June 3rd graduation. Even though she understood the cost of a pan-Pacific ticket made little sense with this time frame, we knew how much she wanted him to be here.
Tearful Surprise
Still, her dad decided to check the airline website one more time last Sunday to discover that we could actually get a reasonable frequent flyer ticket on very short notice…fast forward one week and we pulled off a tearful surprise none of us will ever forget.
Get out your tissues and click the link below…he ran up and said, “Hey, it’s my turn to sit up front!”

So now, I may still be knee-deep in packing and planning, but I have my whole family together, which makes a world of difference!

Thank you Shellie for liking my post about Miss Julia Sugarbaker. So many recalled fond memories of the character from Designing women. What a fun show it was. Sheila
You are so welcome, Sheila!
Hi Shellie! Thank you so much for featuring me this week! It was quite a surprise! Your post on your children brought tears to my eyes. My son lives 3,500 miles away and I only get to see him once a year so I know how much those special moments mean. I usually start crying on the flight out and always cry my way home lol. Your children will always be your children no matter how old they are. I’m very happy for you and your family!
Hi Carla, it is so tough to be away from our kids, but then I guess it makes our together times just that much sweeter!
Such a pleasant surprise!
Come check out my latest collab with Los Angeles based brand TOBI – I’m sure you’ll love it!
