In the blink of an eye we have been ushered into the year 2016, but I don’t want to go into the New Year without taking a moment to reflect on how I’ve grown and what I learned in 2015.

What I Learned In 2015

What I Learned In 2015

This has definitely been a year of transitions for me. I started the process of wrapping my head around the empty nest after my first child left home. Now, I am enjoying every last moment of my daughter’s final year at home before she also leaves home for college next Fall.

I guess the biggest theme for this last year would be “Change and Challenges.” As the dynamics of my little family began to change, I realized how much I needed new challenges and opportunities to grow past this stage in my life.

Change is an inevitable part of the human experience. But, how we respond to change is entirely up to us! Two gone, one to go. It is hard and awesome all at once. I look forward for me, I look forward for them, can’t wait to see where it takes us all!

Exactly Tracy, there are so many mixed emotions. I love to see them grow and mature, but it hurts to see them go.
