Southern Style In Asia – Holiday Magazine My Way Challenge
December 11, 2015A common question people ask when they find out I live in Asia is, “Don’t you miss your family around the holidays?” I can’t say their inquiries are far off base as Christmas a family affair for many. Still, when it comes to the glitz and pazzazz…Christmas in Manila is pretty special!
Christmas In Manila – Wonderful Wednesday
Don’t get me wrong, I love my Christmases spent in America. Since 1994, I’ve spent four Decembers in the United States around my extended family and I made sure to make the most of them. We went to see light displays and the musical shows and the live nativities…we did it all!
But, when you take away all the fanfare, the value of this special holiday is in focusing on its meaning and sharing that joy with others. So, I guess Manila is as good of a place as any to sow some Christmas cheer. Have a wonderful Wednesday!

What a beautiful Christmas tree! I love the teal color!
I totally agree with you about Christmas. One year my husband and I celebrate it in my apartment in Shanghai, but still felt the same. 😉
