Wordless Wednesday – Singin’ In The Rain

I absolutely love live theatre! When it comes to entertainment, there are few things that compare to the vitality and exuberance of talented actors on the stage. This weekend my daughter and I went to a performance of “Singin’ In The Rain” and yes, they did make it rain onstage, so they really were singin’ in the rain!
In fact, they gave the front rows ponchos to keep them dry. Β Let’s just say we had no need for a poncho as we were quite a distance from the stage. Still the performance by the London troupe was top-notch and I was thrilled to be there.
How has your week been? If you have had more than your share of clouds or cloudy moments, I hope you can take a moment to strap on your rain boots and dance a jig in spite of it or to spite it!

It was really cool to watch them squeegy it up at intermission…the stage was dry and ready to go by the next act!
I once went to a a big skating show where one of the numbers was singing in the rain..and it rained down onto the ice..I can’t believe he could still skate with all the wet.. But it was absolutely beautiful!

I am always amazed when I watch talented skaters get out there and do such brilliant footwork on two blades!!!

Thats a fab show! We recently saw a play too and my son loved it. Something about seeing them sing live and perform!
There is just something about seeing a live performance that makes it even more special!
