Comfortable and cool are two important words for summer fashion. As the temperatures rise, we want to find something that is easy to wear; especially for our favorite outdoor events. But, comfort doesn’t have to be frumpy. You can still be cute and comfortable with your everyday style.
How To Wear A Comfortable And Cool Jersey Top
When it comes to wearing jersey or t-shirt material, it’s important to keep a few of these fashion tips in mind. First, try to look for cotton tops that have a little weight to them. This will allow the top to hang better on your body.
Second, takeΒ care not to go too thin with your jersey tanks and tops. Thin jersey tends to show off a little more than you may care for others to see. This leaves two options. Either you end up having to wear a camisole underneath (my cami is only a half) or you end up with a look that highlights every wrinkle and bump.
Finally, don’t be afraid to go a little larger if you need to. The key is for your jersey tank top to skim your curves rather than hug them. A jersey top that is too small can actually make you look bigger instead of smaller. And don’t forget to check out how the tank looks from the back before you purchase it.
Summer is also a fun time for color. Β The days of strict matching are gone, so don’t be afraid to wear multiple colors at the same time. For this outfit I chose to pair sunny yellow with hot pink.Β Enjoy your summer and stay cool!
