Still My Baby
May 26, 2015Top 4 Excuses – I Eat Because The Food Is There
May 28, 2015My son just finished his freshman year in college. Now, he is spending a few weeks with his grandparents before leaving for some summer work. Last weekend they attended the first birthday of my precious little great nephew, Brooks. He’s such a cutie!
I have not seen my son since Christmas, so when my niece posted the pictures of the party, I cruised through them looking for a glimpse of my boy. I finally came across this picture and it brought a lump to my throat.
He may be 19 years old, but to me he’s still my baby boy. It seems like it was just yesterday that we celebrated his first birthday and he was cute and squeezy, just like little Brooks.
There are no words to describe a mama’s love for her babies, no matter how old they are!

I agree with your assessment about being a mom. They will always be your babies as long as you live no matter how old they are. He’s a handsome young man too.

Yes, he saw this one! I appreciate you Karren and your encouragement.
I know what you mean about kids growing up too fast. My boys are still pretty little, but I teach college aged young adults. I hear their parents come in, and say just what you were blogging about. They do grow quickly!
Enjoy your boys…thanks for stopping by to share!
