Casual Mall Outfit – What I Really Wore
July 19, 2016I Love A Little White Dress
July 26, 2016It’s been another great week of summer fun, but an extremely busy one. My daughter and I spent the first several days attending her freshmen orientation for college. There’s nothing quite like watching your grown kids launch out into their adult lives. I loved hearing her relay all the details with her own special flair and perspective.
Then, there’s the exciting element of picking out all the new decor for her dorm room. It’s funny to think back to my college days…then, I just scrounged around for whatever I could find in my old room. Nowadays, you have a color-coordinated room in the latest color scheme. But, I have to admit, I am loving every minute of the search.
With all of this summer fun, I have been off of my blogging game a little bit this week. But, I am sure this week’s Thursday Favorite Things will have all kinds of fun stuff to motivate and inspire you. Also, check out my post “How To Rein In Summer Weight Gain” for some tips on how to deal with all those yummy summer foods.

Thanks Katherine!
My baby girl is scheduled to start university in 2017 and the heart is already going into palpitation mode at the thought of her going away. Sigh. My husband said this to me, last night, and I quote, “I really have to figure something out when she goes next year”, meaning therapy for me, I know π
It is hard, Sheela…but I would say that the anticipation is worse than the reality.
Dorm shopping is so fun! What an exciting time. π
