We have entered the great divide for weather. For some of us, the temperature will continue to drop with each passing week, while others of us will notice little change. Here in Manila, we will get a little relief from the heat, but it is slow in coming.

I am wearing a vintage inspired black dress with a drop waist from Ann Taylor.

This little black dress has a drop waist  It is accented with a flattering lace inlay that tapers down the middle. The full skirt also makes the dress more comfortable and easier to sit in.

For colder weather, this vintage dress would look fabulous paired with opaque black tights and a denim blazer.

I paired this look with some fabulous handmade Thai accessories. The bracelet is made from carved water buffalo horn and the ring is fashioned from wood. I also purchased the smoky topaz ring in Thailand several years ago.

Remember, black never has to be boring. Just make sure to choose items with interesting details and add fabulous accessories.
