This weekend my kids and I went to Ft. Myers, Florida to do a college tour and visit with my niece and her family. On Saturday morning we decided to hit the shops, which were in no short supply there. We ended up at Coconut Point and had a great day of food and shopping. 
I embraced all things good about summer with this pastel and white combo for my everyday fashion look. I have owned my Lucky Brand white boyfriend jeans for several years. I had been looking for a gingham shirt this summer and I found this Land’s End shirt at a second-hand store for $4.00!
The Tommy Hilfiger sandals are one of my favorite summer finds. I found them on sale at Belk for $13.50. I did find them for you at Macy’s, but I’m afraid you won’t get quite the deal I did.
I paired the look with my fabulous straw bag accented with vivid pastel strips. You may remember, I highlighted this handmade bag earlier this summer. I picked in up in Boracay, Philippines. The sunny yellow belt pulled the whole look together. Remember, it works to add multiple colors together; especially when they have the same color intensity!

As someone who lived in South Florida for 25 years I know that Summertime in Florida is HOT! You did a great job dressing for hot, humid weather without looking wilted or sloppy. I get tired of hearing, “oh, it’s too hot to dress up”. Glad you enjoyed your day of shopping 🙂
