Hey all, and welcome to the second week of Fun Summer Finds! I want to give a big virtual hug to each of you who linked up for the very first linkup. This is my first time to host a linkup and I had no idea what to expect. We had 36 links last week and I am thrilled with that!
I have really enjoyed my first week back in the US and back into the stores! I am a real bargain shopper.
But, I am sure most of you would agree that the clothes matter very little if you are not happy with your hair. I scheduled a hair appointment for my second full day in America. A good hair stylist really is a #funsummerfind for me. Now, I feel more like myself and I’m ready for an exciting summer!
My motto is, “Anyone can dress fashionably with enough money, but it takes real talent to spend very little, but still look like a million bucks!”
Typically, I like to mix and match less expensive items with higher quality items; however, I don’t like to spend a lot for either!
Here are a few of my #funsummerfinds from week #1.
My first shopping venture was to Ross. I’m sure many of you are familiar with this store. It’s really a mix of high, medium and lower quality clothing; all sold at great prices! But in line with my shopping philosophy, I still shop only from the clearance racks.
No shopping venture is complete without a fashion fail, so I included one of those for you as well! So, why didn’t this dress work? I was attracted by the cute pattern and colors; however, the high neckline was not very flattering on me. I typically look best with a more open neckline

A day late to the party, been a busy week! Love your black and white summer look. My fav summer find is my vintage French “chore” shirt that I found at the Brimfield Flea Market. Thank you for hosting Shellie!
