Tie dye is a major style trend for Spring. Typically, tie dye evokes visions of bohemian style and floppy hats, but this season’s designs show this trend used in much more traditional forms, while still maintaining a flowing, casual feel.

How To Wear Over 40

Tie dye makes a strong style statement, so a little bit goes a long way! When sporting this trend over 40, try focusing on just one piece of your wardrobe…like this tie dye sweater.

I paired this coral tie dye sweater with a simple tank and jean skirt. While the styling of these pieces is rather understated, the color combination makes quite a statement! I love how this deep purple tank and amethyst jewelry pieces work with the coral.

The belt is the segue piece that helps pull all the colors together.
