Yippee girls! Thursday, March 20 marks the first official day of Spring. Of course, Spring can mean totally different things depending on which part of the country you’re from, so I included a little something for everyone.

TEN SIGNS SPRING HAS ARRIVED

(and one to grow on!)

1. It’s no longer dark when you drive home from work.

2. Color returns to the world once again. You forgot just how pretty green can be.

3. You start accepting the inevitability of the summer swim suit.

4. The weather and the extra daylight actually make it possible for you to get out and exercise in preparation for that swimsuit.

5. Baseball season starts! Even if you are not a big sports fan, there is just something about getting out to watch a ballgame.

6. You suddenly see people outside again and boy are they in a friendly mood.

7. The countdown for the end of school gets into double digits!

8. Meal planning becomes a lot easier because once the grill comes out; husband cooks the meat.

9. You contemplate the possibility of, just maybe, cutting back on some of the black in your wardrobe.

10. You have to navigate past the Cadbury eggs, chocolate bunnies and peeps every time you go to the store.

11. Oh, and you have to start shaving your legs again!
