How long has it been since you’ve had some girlfriend time?

Girlfriend Time

I finally got together with some girlfriends to celebrate the 50th birthday of one of our gal pals. Even then, we were already a month late! We had a blast just sitting around; enjoying each other. But, of course, we ended the night with that all-too-familiar phrase, “we need to do this more often.”

How many times have you said that same thing after enjoying a night out with friends or family…”we need to do this more often”…I’d dare say too many times. Life has a way of convincing us that this task or that form can not possibly wait another day, so we skip along working feverishly from one must-do to the next.

However, sitting around that table enjoying a my friends convinced me that girlfriend time is indeed something I “must do” on a regular basis.

How about you? Do you set proactively set aside time to spend with those you love?

Easter is a very special time where we decorate eggs, go on Easter egg hunts,
and get together with family and friends. Easter is also the time where we proclaim,
“He is Risen” and celebrate the resurrection of our Lord, and the promise that is in that.
Join my family and me, as we celebrate this special holiday.
