Not long before I returned to the Philippines, I met up with my best buddy at RAOK Boutique to play a little dress up. You may remember Karen Gillman, I wrote about her book in a previous post. She successfully lost over 130 lbs. with the lap band procedure; she shares her life and experiences of living for a decade with the device. Karen is a fabulous gal pal and she has just started dabbling in photography. So, she offered to be my photographer for the day.

The owner, Brigitte (above), let us roam through the store and pick out whatever caught our eye. Then, she made sure every outfit got just the right finishing touches. Today, I chose minty cool jeans and a breezy top.

Cool And Breezy Outfit With Pastel Jeans

I was really drawn to this cool and breezy outfit. The cut of the white top is extremely figure-flattering. The modified jewel neckline provides a slimming silhouette when balanced against the open shoulders. Also, the texture of the fabric adds visual interest.

I paired this breezy top with some super cute, minty cool jeans. The slim fit of the jeans perfectly complement the loose flowing top. Pastel jeans are also a popular fashion trend for 2015.

Of course, an outfit is only as good as the accessories it’s paired with! Don’t you just love the pink tasseled purse set against the minty green?!

I finished off the outfit with just the right jewelry. First, I am wearing a collection of mix-and-match Erimish bracelets and fabulous dangling earrings from Brighton. I am a major fan of Brighton earrings. My ears are extremely sensitive, but I have a favorite everyday pair of Brighton earrings that have never given me the slightest problem.
